Our Team

Gabrielle graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics. She was elected to the national Phi Beta Kappa Society, which is the oldest and one of the most prestigious academic honor society in the United States. In addition to her major, she was a fellow of the Trott Business Program, which is a career advancement program with a business curriculum in collaboration with the Booth School of Business.  Being people person, she served as the President of the Hong Kong Student Association, and was involved in various business organizations, such as Maroon Capital and Women in Business. To give back to the Chicago community, she volunteered in a hospital and mentored Chinese orphans adopted by American families.  

Gabrielle has a passion for education because she wants to help students attain their learning goals. Her teaching career started at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital where she taught English and Maths to children ages 6-17.  She trained herself to bring out the best in her students by understanding her students’ difficulties and needs. Moreover, she has experience in US college consulting as a volunteer for a Hong Kong-based NGO called Boundless. She reviewed college applications essays and provided college advice to her mentee who received acceptance from the University of Chicago with a merit scholarship. At ARCH, Gabrielle teaches English Test Preparation; she strives to help her students achieve their target scores and move a step closer to their dream schools.  

Gabrielle loves coding, painting and running. She enjoys software development and still does recreational programming. As an aspiring artist, she has won national painting competitions and currently she is exploring film-making through producing Youtube videos. She is also training for an upcoming marathon.
